Privacy Policy

Summary

Atlas Budget is a personal budgeting and investment-tracking app. Your financial data belongs to you. We do not sell it, we do not show ads, and we use no third-party tracking. To improve the app we count anonymous, aggregate feature usage in our own system (never your identity or your financial figures). This page explains exactly what we store and who processes it.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and an encrypted password, used to create and secure your account.
• Content you enter — the budgeting and investment data you choose to add: accounts, balances, transactions, categories, budgets, targets, scheduled items, and investment holdings. This is the core of the app and is stored so your data is available across your devices.
• Technical data — a session token issued at sign-in. It is sent with requests to our market-data service purely to authenticate you and apply per-user rate limits. We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers, and we do not link any bank or brokerage account — every figure in the app is entered by you.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the app: store, sync, and display your budget and portfolio.
• To authenticate you and send account emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset).
• To fetch live prices, price history, and dividend estimates for the symbols you track.
• To protect the service against abuse (rate limiting).

3. Who processes your data (subprocessors)

• Supabase — authentication and the database that stores your account and content. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Vercel — hosts the app and the serverless functions that proxy market-data requests.
• Resend — delivers transactional account emails (confirmation, password reset).

These providers act on our behalf and only process what is needed to run the service.

4. Market-data providers

To show prices and history we send the ticker symbols you track (e.g. AAPL, PTT.BK) to Yahoo Finance and Morningstar through our own server. These requests carry no identifying information about you — only the symbol. Market data is provided "as is", may be delayed (typically 15–30 minutes for quotes), and should not be relied on for trading decisions.

5. What we don't do

• We never sell or rent your data.
• We show no advertisements.
• We use no third-party analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, advertising IDs, or cross-app tracking.
• The only usage data we keep is anonymous, aggregate feature counts (e.g. "an anonymous device opened the tax screen") stored in our own database — no name, email, amount, income, or holding value is ever attached, and it is not linked to your account.
• We do not access any financial account on your behalf.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the account menu (avatar → Delete account). This immediately and irreversibly erases all of your content and your login identity from our systems. You can also clear all content without deleting the account via Clear all data.

7. Your rights

Consistent with Thailand's PDPA and similar laws (e.g. the GDPR), you may access, correct, export, or delete your data. The app already lets you view and edit everything you have entered and delete your account outright. For any other request, contact us below.

8. Security

Connections use TLS. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider and are never visible to us. Access to your rows in the database is restricted to your authenticated account. Optionally, you can enable Face ID / Touch ID to lock the app on your device.

9. Children

Atlas Budget is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. International users

The app is operated from Thailand and your data may be processed on servers located in other countries by the subprocessors listed above. By using the app you consent to this processing.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
